Sorry Jen, next week is a skip week :) I'm not going to be in town. Next game will be at Fortress as usual, Sept. 8th. I hope everyone has a nice Labor day and good to hear you got back to MI safely, Jen.

I got a couple maps for ya. . . one that I snagged from a lady named Bernice that game me a ride from the skyway oasis to the wisconsin border. evidently her son died from heroin. but that's a whole other story. Jesus H. Christ on a flaming stick. . . there's so much shit to see when you cut through indiana, chicago, and all that shit. It's great. Well. . . I have to get to work. . . so I'll see you guys all next week, proposing that it is not a skip week. Cheers!

thinking. . . and I feel like getting out of town before I have to go back to the monotony of school. I plan to hitch hike to Wisconson and back. I have never been there, and frankly, would like to go. George, I'll bring some maps back, if I have enough spare change to buy some. I hope to make it back by this upcoming saturday... and I will need to sit down with the st's and design a layout for the ad. It's quite complicated. . . and be thankful. . . because I'm not charging you guys (yes. . . I run a small 'business-esk' thing)... so... I'll see you all when I see you. Cheers!

I mentioned possibly putting an advertisement in the State News(MSU's newspaper). I don't really understand the article they have for prices, but it's cheap for a year add... between $15.50 and $11. I'm willing, and I'm sure Seth and Mike are too, to give an XP to someone who constructs a flashy add for the paper. I'll be more than happy to drop it off.

ATTENTION!!!
I'm typing up a suggestion form for the game. If you want to submit your feedback in a private manner, the manner in which I prefer, you can do so in the next few games. I'll put in a few questions that I think are relevent and ask for responses in which you think the game could be bettered.
I'm going to ask you to sign it. If you don't, I won't consider it worthy of my time to read. I'll still give it over to Seth and Mike though.
I hope to see everyone, or at least most of you, tomorrow.
Adam - Saturday, August 18, 2001 at 03:15:51 (EDT)
If anyone needs a ride tomorrow, E-mail me with your phone number before 2PM Saturday. I have enough room for 3 other people, 4 if you don't mind being uncomfortable. Seeing as I have to save up to be poor till I start getting paid, gas donations would be appreciated.

I would like to meet with all the city officers individually for a series of short meetings this weekend. It concerns something of Sect wide importance. It may be necessary for some changes to be made, but that will be Booth's decision. The changes will be encouraged on my part if there are several absences.
OOC, please spread the word that officers need to be present if they aren't able to read the board. I'm hoping 4 days notice is plenty.

The pics are not downloaded onto the computer yet. . . and I don't know if they will be... due to the fact that the memory card - thing got bached. I might have to scrap those pics and take more some other time. Sorry about the inconvenience. Oh... and Dave... I hope you got your book ok... ;) had to pull a last one on ya.

Hello.
I have not posted on here in a while. I hope people are enjoying themselves. I personally would like to be able to play a character some day. We ST's are trying to keep plotlines to character created as much as possible. People just have to remember that actions from months ago still affect the game today. When we have hunters, it is because people have been seen and have shown themselves to be threats to the public. Be vampires, have meetings, and stay off the streets if you want to live. That is my advice.
See you Saturday.

Starting Very Soon, I will be hosting a Garou only larp on Sundays, now this larp will not interfere at all with the Fortress Larp, so i encourage people to try it. it will be a Cam Sanctioned Larp. Location is unknown if you show interested email me to discuss details. See you all Saturday.

One last thing. Since John didn't hand over ANY of your histories, please re-submit them. I've gotten a lot of IM's and e-mails about histories not being utilized. Well, its hard when we don't have any. I'm tired, I'm goin' to bed now....
Adam - Tuesday, August 07, 2001 at 02:49:43 (EDT)
I'd love to run player created plots, but due to a lull in downtimes being turned in that's rather difficult. I don't mean blatant attempts at character's lives, but more subtle things. I've got something in mind. If it goes through, everyone will notice on Sat.(and no, it won't be bad for any of you ;-])
Adam - Tuesday, August 07, 2001 at 02:46:14 (EDT)
Now, I'm trying to give the NPC's some more personality when they're involved, but it's difficult when there are several different plots running(I think Chino has a decent one, but I guess I'm biased). I'll try harder this weekend ;-] As for interacting with Bob and Joe mortal; if it's feeding scene, chances are I'm just going to make you sit OOC for a while(possibly make a Humanity check). If it's something else, chances are it wasn't me running the scene if they couldn't be reasoned with. See post 3.
Adam - Tuesday, August 07, 2001 at 02:38:53 (EDT)
I hear ya, John. However, the NPC's(other than the Gangrel elder, and he was brought in after A LOT of IC work from the Gangrel and others.) have been far from invinvible. Attacking an Infernalist, or a group of 3 hunters, isn't an effective way of dealing with antagonists who expect it. Taking the role of kindred, you have an opportunity to manipulate the masses. That is a vampire's best tool to dealing with a problem. Talk to Dave Beck about that. See next post for more.
Adam - Tuesday, August 07, 2001 at 02:31:56 (EDT)
yup yup... I cobbed your book dave. I was going to drop it off when I took my sis to work... but I forgot it. I have to take her to work at 8:30-esk tomorrow... so I'll drop it off then.

Really, This is the game that introduced me to vampire. I loved it, and enjoyed talking witht the people. However, an ugly truth is revealing it's self. The Fortress game is dying. We have lost several players, and it seems our numbers dwindle with every game session. There are several reaons got this, and they aren't anyones fault. I just want the ST's to know that I am not having fun, and haven't been lately. This is not purely your fault. . . miscommunications between you, and I have arisen. Therefore I would like to present the following problem I have with game. . . wether or not they fall on deaf ears is at the judgement of the ST's. I think that we should most definitely pay more attention to charactars bloodlines. . . particularly the old expieriences of the charactars coming into the game. Another thought would be roleplaying NPC's that have real emotions, and ideas. . . Recently I have not met a human that was even remotely compliant to me despite my attempts to placate them. . . this happens though. My main problem is that if I hunt it always comes down to combat. . .strait rules, and such. . . Feeding, and meeting new people makes LARP fun. . . The NPC's that we DO have are totally invinceable. . . despite the plot there is NEVER a reason for this. There are far more humans in Lansing than Elders, and robots, and hunters. . . . Honestly. . . I am not finding game fun anymore. . . I will continue to come because I count you people amoung my friends. You where the people who first taught me how to roleplay. . . Anyway. . . . please at least E-mail me or somthing. . .

Wow, I am impressed. I should try and find out what these circumstances are, I would really like to know. Hehehe.
George - Monday, August 06, 2001 at 20:52:05 (EDT)
The circumstances which resulted in the Lextalionis being called is only known by three kindred. If you ask them what they are(and they tell you), I'm sure you'll see it as being warranted. Also, the Fortress page isn't the place to voice disagreements with plot or rules problems(I've done it before too, it doesn't accomplish anything). Thats what we have E-mail and Instant Messenger for.
Adam - Monday, August 06, 2001 at 19:35:45 (EDT)
Ya know.. if the STes even allow that it is really STUPID.. it is not even sencical for that much attention to be brought upon one Canite of his gen and history. Local or state wide perhaps.. Global.. that is nuts and not even logical. I think that is taking things way too far.. but that is just my humble opinon.
David Smith - Monday, August 06, 2001 at 17:04:38 (EDT)
Global Lextalionis has been declared on Mordaine.
